el desayuno (breakfast), la comida (lunch), la cena (dinner).
el pan (bread), el queso (cheese), la carne (meat), el pollo (chicken), el pescado (fish), las verduras (vegetables), la fruta, una manzana (an apple), un plátano (a banana), las patatas fritas (chips), la tarta (cake), el helado (ice cream).
Drinks: el agua (water), la leche (milk), el zumo de naranja (orange juice), el chocolate caliente (hot chocolate), el té, el café.
Likes and dislikes
Me gusta + a singular noun: me gusta el pollo. Me gustan + a plural noun: me gustan las patatas fritas.
No me gusta el pescado (I don't like fish). Me encanta la fruta (I love fruit).
In a café
Quisiera… (I would like…) or para mí… (for me…), por favor.
¿Cuánto es? (how much is it?) La cuenta, por favor (the bill, please).
Opinions: está rico (it's tasty), es sano (it's healthy). Soy vegetariano / vegetariana (I'm vegetarian).
